Leslie will be joined by Reproductive Endocrinologist, Dr. Martha Noel who will discuss relevant data on fertility and fertility preservation. The speakers will jointly review fertility coverage benefits for trainees, faculty and staff at UCSF and take questions from the audience.

Gender, Leadership & the Freeze: Helping Women and Allies Navigate Difficult Conversations

Join WILD in conversation with Ruben Flores of The Academy (a program that teaches women "to increase power, agency and influence in all areas of their lives"), to identify “the freeze” that happens in high stakes conversations and during micro-aggressions, learn and practice how to reclaim your power and effectively deal with micro-aggressions, and recognize and engage with others experiencing micro-aggressions as an effective ally.

The VOICE Project team (Drs. Beth Griffiths, Zarah Iqbal, Stephanie Fong Gomez, and Daniela Brissett) will give us strategies to get involved in voter engagement efforts as physicians and trainees. We will also discuss general skill-building in advocacy that can be applied to any career. The VOICE team will provide phonebanking training and we will host an half hour of interactive (and fun!) phonebanking together.

Women in Medicine in the time of COVID-19 Part #1
